Otwieram zatem dyskusję.I have secured informations, that there is new material by Ralf and Fritz existing.
But to be honest with you and all fans as well, this does not mean that this material will materialize soon or will ever come out at all.
As you know, there were new songs already in 1997, even tested live on stage. These songs all ended up in the garbage can (thank god).
I'm also a fan of Kraftwerk, I met Ralf and Florian in 1991 and we were talking for half an hour. I think I know what type of intelligent artist Ralf is, as well since I'm working with Fernando, he knows him even much better of course...
So I think I know, what questions Ralf is asking himself: "Will a new KW album be accepted by the fans without Florian?", "What if this album without Florian turns out to be a flop? Wouldn't this damage my great reputation forever?"
A new Kraftwerk album is a great risk. If Ralf is able to make an album in the quality of "La Forme" from TDF Soundtracks, this album is going to be a triumph.
If this album will turn out to be in the quality of "TDF 03" or the unreleased tracks of '97, it will be panned by critics and fans and rated as desaster.
In the last 8 years many circumstances changed and a co-founder left the band.
TDF Soundtrack is not the best Kraftwerk album, we all know that, it's rather the less good album of all, even 2 or 3 very good tracks can't hide the fact, that the album is relatively weak for a KW album. It was a mega-seller, yes, but 2003 is not 2011, there is no Schneider, there is no great old title track by Bartos like 2003.
This year, there is a new album out by Fernando, a new album is coming from Karl; in addition fans will compare with earlier albums with Florian...
As a fan, I want this album by Ralf and Fritz so much... As a manager, I have to say: "Ralf, better don't do it." It's really not worth the risk.
In my opinion, the new album has to be perfect or it will be the coffin nail for Ralf's reputation as a legend and the end of the band itself. It's really not worth the risk.
Ralf and Fritz are very good musicians, that's all we know for sure. If this is enough for a real "Kraftwerk album", only time will tell... Or not.
Bez przesady.
